Deniliquin: NSW Police raid regional home owned by accused drug supplier

Police allege an early morning raid on a regional NSW house unearthed a haul of cocaine, cannabis, cash, weapons – and more. Here’s the details.

An accused drug supplier has been hit with a string of charges after police allegedly uncovered drugs, cash, weapons, and ammunition in an early morning raid.

Murray River Police officers executed a search warrant at a home on Poicitiers St, Deniliquin, about 6.55am on Thursday, allegedly unearthing and seizing more than $5000 cash, cocaine, cannabis, two sets of handcuffs, two gel blaster rifles, and ammunition from a safe inside the property.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Deniliquin Police Station.

He was charged with 12 offences, including supplying a prohibited drug, dealing with proceeds of crime, possessing unregistered firearms, and operating a drug premises.

Police will allege the home was being knowingly used for drug activity.

The man was granted conditional bail and is due to front Deniliquin Local Court on August 13.
