Wagga Local Court: Man charged over alleged sexual abuse of teen girl
A man has fronted court accused of having sex with a teenager a number of times before making her send sexually explicit images of herself.

A man has been remanded in custody for allegedly having sex with a teenage girl multiple times and harassing her to send sexually explicit images of herself to him.
The 22-year-old, of North Albury, appeared via video link in Wagga Local Court on Monday charged with three counts of sexual intercourse with a child (aged between 10 and 16 years old), use child for purpose of producing child abuse material and possess unauthorised prohibited firearm.
He has not pleaded to the charges.
Police state on May 6, detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad started an investigation following allegations a teenage girl had been sexually abused and was the subject of child abuse material.
Following inquiries, police attended a North Albury home on May 8 and arrested the man.
A crime scene warrant was executed at his house where officers seized a mobile phone and a ‘gel’ blaster gun.
In court, bail was not applied for bail and it was formally refused.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Rowen Harris will serve a brief of evidence on defence solicitor Dominic Holles at Legal Aid by July 14.
The accused, who is not identified to protect the identify of the alleged victim, is scheduled to front Wagga Local Court again on May 13 for a bail application before having the matter move to Albury Local Court.
