A young man allegedly broke in to the homes of two of his female neighbours to watch them sleep.

Bradley Peacock, 22, faced Wagga Local Court on Friday after he was charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter, two counts of stalking with intent to cause fear, two counts of unlawful entry to inclosed lands and larceny.

Police will allege the first of the two stalking incidents happened on November 12 when Peacock broke into his neighbour’s Lake Albert home at 12.20am with the intention of watching the woman as she slept in her bed, according to court documents.

The second incident allegedly occurred a week later on November 19.

Police will allege Peacock broke into a different female neighbour’s home between 2am and 7am and watched her as she slept.

He also faced court for allegedly entering another two properties in the area on the same morning.

Police will also allege Peacock stole a two mobile phones worth about $550.

The prosecution opposed bail and told the court that they had no confidence that the community could be protected if Peacock was granted bail.

The prosecution also said that Peacock allegedly watched one of the women for two hours.

Peacocks lawyer told the court he had no criminal history and his sister was willing to have him stay at her Tolland home if he was granted bail.

The court also heard that Peacock had been accepted to stay at the Calvary Residential Facility from Monday.

Magistrate Miranda Moody noted the terror the women must have felt but granted Peacock strict conditional bail.

Under the conditions, Peacock must stay at his sisters home in Tolland, must be accompanied by his sister at all times, must abstain from drinking alcohol and taking drugs and must not enter Lake Albert.

No pleas were entered and the matter has been adjourned to January 13.
