A South Coast developer has announced plans to build five new two and three storey townhouses in the popular tourist town of Ulladulla amid an investment boon promising new retail and fast-food options.

Surfside-based developer the Facchini Group lodged plans for the multi-million dollar project with the Shoalhaven City Council on May 24, with construction slated for 162 Camden Street.

According to documents provided to the council, work will comprise of five linear lots, with one adaptable two-bedroom unit, and four three-bedroom units, three of which will be three storeys in height.

The design of the buildings was completed by the Duplex Group, a NSW-based design firm that has facilitated a number of developments in the Illawarra, including in Wollongong and Kiama.

Concept designs show that the project will feature ground-level parking, with double garages for the middle three, three-storey and three bedroom units.

Addition exterior, uncovered parking appears to be provided for the corner, two-storey unit.
