Nowra: Police seize 13 guns, $64k in cash during search warrants
Raptor Squad officers have charged two men and seized 13 firearms – including six stolen allegedly stolen from a Lithgow museum – following an investigation into alleged firearm and drug supply on the south coast.

Police have seized 13 guns, 10,000 rounds of ammunition, more than $60,000 cash and nearly three kilograms of drugs following a search warrant operation on the NSW south coast.
Raptor Squad officers searched two properties on Oxford St, South Nowra and Plunkett St, Nowra, as part of an investigation into alleged firearm and drug supply under Strike Force Biarritz.
The officers searched the Nowra homes just before 9am Thursday, October 24, where they uncovered and seized 13 firearms, a 3D printer, 3D printed firearm parts, approximately 10,000 rounds of ammunition, $64,700 in cash and 2.3 kilograms of cannabis.
Police will allege in court six of the firearms seized were believed to have been stolen from a Lithgow Museum last month, and made operational through privately manufactured firearm parts.
Police also seized a buggy and two motocross bikes they allege were stolen.
Two men, Jordan Ellis, 29, and Calob Ellis, 25, were arrested following the searches and taken to Nowra Police Station.
The 29-year-old man was charged with 23 offences, while the 25-year-old man was charged with 24 offences, including 12 counts of possess unregistered firearm – prohibited firearm, manufacture prohibited firearm without licence/permit, and a number of other charges relating to the possession of unregistered firearms and ammunition.
The men were refused bail and appeared in the Nowra Local Court before Magistrate Lisa Viney today.
Ms Viney adjourned the case, with the Ellis’ returning to the same court on December 20.
