Noel Glyde accused of historic physical assaults against two female high school students

The identity of a former south coast high school counsellor who allegedly assaulted two female students in 2017 and 2018 has been revealed.

A former high school counsellor has faced court accused of physically assaulting two female students on the south coast between 2017 and 2018.

Noel Matthew Glyde, 55, of Dalmeny has pleaded not guilty to four charges of common assault against the teenage girls in Narooma Local Court on October 15.

Police allege the historic assaults took place while he was a counsellor at Bega High School between February, 2017, and February, 2018.

Glyde was arrested on August 13 and is under strict bail conditions which include not entering the town where the alleged offences took place.

Magistrate Doug Dick adjourned the matter to Narooma Local Court on November 12.
