Most units in an upcoming multimillion-dollar south coast apartment building have been sold, with only two left on the market.
St Georges Basin will soon be home to a $44m apartment complex at 112 Island Point Road.
The land is now being transformed as construction work begins, with trees being removed and soil being flattened.
Announced in early 2022, the complex will consist of four separate three-storey buildings, all housing several units.
Most apartments have already sold prior to construction, with prices ranging from $600 thousand to in the millions.
There are only two units remaining, one two-bedroom for $699,000 and one three-bedroom for $890,000.
Brandan Horner from BLAQ Real Estate said the apartments were in an ideal location.
“The apartments will be only a short walk to The St Georges Basin waterfront, local shops, restaurants and cafes with and only moments from Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay Marine park, Booderee National Park and the coastal surrounds of Vincentia markets and Huskisson villages,” he said.
Domain (which has the final two units listed) has described the apartments as being crafted to “showcase generous, open-plan layouts complimented by designer finishes both timeless and sumptuous in design, presenting sea level as an exceptional offering for those with an eye for lifestyle, luxury and convenience”.
The apartments are set to change the landscape of not just the street, but the town as a whole.
There are currently no apartments of this style in Saint Georges Basin, with the small town of 4,801 residents consisting primarily of normal one to two-storey houses.
Construction of the apartment complex is set to be completed mid next year.
BLAQ Real Estate is urging anyone who is interested in purchasing one of the final units to do so quickly.
