Construction to begin on Batehaven apartment complex

Construction is set to begin this year on a new four-storey apartment building in a popular south coast suburb.
Beach Road in Batehaven, southeast of Batemans Bay, will soon be home to a brand new, $7m apartment building known as “Mizu”.
The building, which will house 24 units, will begin construction later this year, following the conclusion of the development application process.
The future units are now up for sale starting at $529,500.
The new apartment complex will change the look of the street, which currently houses one to two-storey buildings.
Harcourts realtor Dene Lewthwaite described the future structure as modern and high end.
“With modern interiors, high end finishes and a lush central courtyard, Mizu is the perfect place to stay for a week, a month or full time,” he said.
“Mizu will offer amazing views from each apartment, whether it is into the lush central courtyard, out over the water or back towards the bushland and its high quality materials and clever designs will produce high end apartments.”
Apartments for sale range from one to three bedrooms, all with kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and studies.
Construction will begin mid this year, with “Mizu” expected to be completed by late 2024, early 2025.
