Further charges have been laid on a south coast pony club president accused of sexually touching four women between 2019 and last year.

Neil Duncan, 64, from Coopers Gully north of Bega, did not attend Bega Local Court on Tuesday when his charges were mentioned.

He is yet to enter a plea to six counts of aggravated sexual touching, involving four alleged female victims.

The fresh charges involve a fourth woman, with police alleging Mr Duncan touched her sexually without her consent at Bega in late March, 2019.

The court heard the transcripts of two alleged victims and “several witnesses” are yet to be tendered as evidence, and the case has been referred to The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

“Important items still remain outstanding,” prosecutor Alistair Tonks told the court via video link.

Magistrate Doug Dick adjourned the matter for five weeks to allow time for prosecutors to “get things back on track”.

Mr Duncan pleaded not guilty to six firearms offences, including having an unauthorised Ruger pistol and an unregistered 12-gauge shotgun.

According to court documents, police allege the offences took place in Ingebirah near Thredbo, Coopers Gully north of Bega, within Kosciuszko National Park and in Bega between 2019 and 2020.

The documents reveal Mr Duncan allegedly placed his hand on one alleged victim’s genitalia and her breasts over her clothes without her consent on two occasions in November, 2019.

Two further charges from March last year involve Mr Duncan allegedly touching another alleged victim “above and below” her stomach and placing his hands on her breasts without her consent, documents reveal.

A further two charges, from February and June 2019, involve Mr Duncan allegedly placing his hands underneath his third alleged victim’s shirt, bra and underwear without her consent.

Mr Duncan, who is currently on bail, was arrested on November 6 last year by Cooma police before being charged at Bega Police Station.

Magistrate Dick adjourned the matter to Bega Local Court on April 13.
