A former council manager accused of sexually touching four children is defending the allegations in a hearing before Nowra Local Court.
Luke Charleston, previously employed as a building manager with Shoalhaven Council, has pleaded not guilty to four counts of intentionally sexually touch children between 10 and 16 years of age.
The court has previously heard he was employed as a manager for council’s Nowra-based chambers during a failed bail application last year.
He was granted bail in October 2022, a month following the previous bail application, on the condition of being on good behaviour and not contacting the alleged victims.
Documents tendered to the court allege Charleston sexually touched the multiple children in the Nowra area between March and May last year.
The four alleged victims gave evidence before a closed court on Tuesday.
The hearing will continue before Magistrate Gabriel Flemming on Wednesday.
