Long Gia Ngo: Long Beach man charged with drug supply, cocaine allegedly seized

A man has been arrested and cocaine has allegedly been seized during a south coast police blitz targeting drug offences in the region.

A man accused of supplying cocaine around the south coast has been busted by NSW Police during a strike force targeting drug supply in the region.

Strike Force Kleinig was established in February to target drug offences in the Batemans Bay area – 250km south of Sydney – and has now seen Long Gia Ngo, 26, charged with drug supply, cocaine allegedly seized Long Beach man charged with a number of drug offences.

About 9.15am on Wednesday, Monaro Southern Region Enforcement Squad assisted by officers attached to South Coast Police District, executed a search warrant a home in Fauna Street, Long Beach.

Cocaine was allegedly seized at the scene, along with a mobile phone and laptop for forensic examination.

Gia Ngo was arrested and conveyed to Batemans Bay Police Station.

He was charged with 11 offences including supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, two counts of supply prohibited drug at an indictable and commercial quantity and eight counts of supply prohibited drug at a small quantity.

Gia Ngo was refused bail when he appeared at the Batemans Bay Local Court on Thursday.

Registrar Wendy Harris adjourned the matter by one week.

Gia Ngo’s matter will return to Batemans Bay Local Court on May 13.
