A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another man during an altercation at a Far South Coast home, with the victim being urgently airlifted to Canberra Hospital for treatment.

A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another man during an altercation at a Far South Coast home, with the victim being urgently airlifted to Canberra Hospital for treatment.
Emergency services were called to a property on Beachview Close, North Narooma at about 12.40am on Friday following reports a 31-year-old man had been stabbed.
Police allege an altercation broke out between the man and another 24-year-old man during a party hosted at the residence. Police believe the two men were known to each other.
The 31-year-old was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for stab wounds sustained to his buttocks and upper leg, before being taken to Narooma Hospital.
He was then airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
Just before 8am that morning, officers from the South Coast Police District arrested 24-year-old Jamie Keegan after he returned to the property.
Keegan has since been charged with reckless wounding, and appeared before the Wollongong Local Court on Saturday where he was granted bail.
He will appear at the Moruya Local Court on June 16.
