Hunter Valley: Fagain Maureen Mcmulkin-Faithful guilty of driving offences
A Broken Hill woman — who has pleaded guilty to 29 driving offences — altered her number plates with mailbox stickers before leading Hunter Valley police on a dangerous pursuit on the New England Highway.

An unlicensed driver has altered the number plates on her vehicle by attaching mailbox stickers, before leading police on a dangerous pursuit in the Hunter Valley.
Fagain Maureen Mcmulkin-Faithful, 27, from Broken Hill pleaded guilty to 29 driving offences at Muswellbrook Local Court on Monday.
Ms Mcmulkin-Faithful was behind the wheel when police attempted to stop a Great Wall utility on the New England Highway at Blanford - 60 kilometres north of Muswellbrook - at 6pm on Sunday.
She failed to stop before a pursuit ensued, although it was terminated a short term later due to safety concerns
The utility was later found in a carpark in Little St at Murrurundi where Ms Mcmulkin-Faithful was arrested and refused a breath test.
Police found she had also altered her number plates by attaching mailbox stickers, purchased from a hardware store.
Ms Mcmulkin-Faithful was charged with four counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception, five counts of use unregistrable motor vehicle on road, five counts of use uninsured motor vehicle, five counts of license expired two years or more, four counts of use vehicle displaying misleading/altered number plate, police pursuit (drive dangerously), drive recklessly in a manner dangerous, motor vehicle exceed speed > 30 kmh, overtake vehicle when unsafe, refuse to submit a breath test and goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen.
Ms Mcmulkin-Faithful was bail refused to re-appear at Muswellbrook Local Court in April
Investigations are continuing.
