Wallsend: Man arrested after cocaine, ice found in car stop, officers probing abandoned car
Officers from Operation Utah stopped two cars three hours apart, arresting one 2pm on Tuesday after the driver allegedly failed to indicate several times after leaving a premises.

Police have made an arrest and seized cocaine and ice after following two cars from a Wallsend address.
Operation Utah officers topped a white utility about 2pm on Tuesday after the driver allegedly failed to indicate several times after leaving a premises.
They allegedly seized 58 grams of cocaine and 20 grams of methylamphetamine.
A Raymond Terrace man was later charged and released on conditional bail to appear in Newcastle Local Court next month.
Less than three hours later, police saw a blue sedan leave the same Wallsend address but lost sight of the vehicle as it drove towards Fletcher.
Officers were flagged down by residents and found the blue sedan, which had been driven down a steep embankment off Jarrah Close.
The dog unit failed to find the driver, however police seized cash, a large amount of the prescription medication suboxone and 5.5 grams of cocaine.
Investigations are continuing.
