Tea Gardens: Man charged after 10kg cannabis and meth allegedly found in his car boot
A good haul for Port-Stephens Hunter police, when they allegedly uncovered nearly $100,000 worth of cannabis in the boot of a car at Tea Gardens.

Port-Stephens Hunter police have allegedly uncovered nearly $100,000 worth of cannabis in the boot of a car at Tea Gardens.
Just after 3pm on Wednesday, police spoke to the driver of Ford Fairmont parked outside a forestry access track at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Myall Way.
When police searched the 52-year-old’s vehicle, they found three large garbage bags in the boot, allegedly containing 10.8 kilograms of cannabis.
The potential street value was estimated at more than $95,000.
Police allege they also found a small amount of methylamphetamine.
The man was arrested and taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station where he was charged with several drug offences including supply prohibited drug less than commercial quantity and possess prohibited drug.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Raymond Terrace Local Court in July.
