Raymond Terrace: Third man charged over shots fired at home
A third man has been charged after bullets were shot into a Raymond Terrace house in early May.

Three men have now been charged after three bullets were fired into the home of a Raymond Terrace family.
The family woke on May 2 to discover a .22 calibre bullet had penetrated the front door of their Benjamin Lee Drive home and lodged into an internal wall.
Port Stephens detectives were called in to investigate and later found three shots had been fired towards the house.
The alleged shooter, a 19-year-old man, was arrested in Raymond Terrace on May 5 after police discovered a .22 calibre casing in the footwell of a Mazda 323 stopped in Dungog.
A search of the man’s home alleged uncovered a firearm. It has been sent away for ballistic tests.
The owner of the car was arrested on May 12.
Detectives arrested a third man when he arrived at Raymond Terrace police station on Monday.
All three were charged with firing a firearm at a dwelling or house with disregard for public safety.
The car’s owner and alleged shooter were also charged with being in possession of an unauthorised firearm.
All three men will appear in court later this year.
