It comes after detectives were talking to even more witnesses in February who had surfaced in the case.
The 32-year-old was arrested in August last year on 10 charges relating to four alleged victims between 14 and 20.
Those included four counts of aggravated sexual assault —victim under 16; two counts of indecent assault; one count of incite to commit an act of indecency with a victim 16 years and over; and three counts of common assault.
Mr Hanson was again charged in November last year with an additional 45 sexual assault offences.

In late April, five more charges were added to the list, including aggravated sexual assault, two counts of aggravated indecent assault and two counts of incite a person under the age of 16 to commit an act of indecency.
Mr Hanson’s matter was again briefly mentioned in Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday, with the matter adjourned until July.
The eight month investigation into Mr Hanson commenced in March last year following multiple complaints from young women.
Police allege Mr Hanson, who goes by the name Jimmy Hanson on social media, had used his status and popularity to seek sex from women he met at live gigs he played.
Investigations continue.
