A police raid on a home at Raymond Terrace has allegedly uncovered a dismantled hydroponic set-up, with a dozen mature cannabis plants, steroids and ammunition.
Clay Donald Moodie, 28, was arrested at the Sturgeon St property when he arrived at the property just after 11am on Wednesday.
It followed an investigation by officers from the Port-Stephens Hunter Drug Unit, who executed a crime scene warrant at the premises.
He was taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station and charged with cultivate prohibited plant, possess prohibited drug and possess ammunition without permit.
He was granted strict conditional bail at Raymond Terrace Local Court on Thursday.
Mr Moodie’s matter has been adjourned until next month.
