Police seize more than 50 stolen items in Lake Macquarie region
Police have searched a home at Belmont in relation to several alleged copper thefts in the area and seized over 50 items, alleged to have been stolen.

Have you had tools stolen recently? Well there is a chance it could be in a haul uncovered thanks to Lake Macquarie Police.
Last month, police searched a home at Arlington St, Belmont, in relation to several alleged copper thefts in the area.
But what they discovered was much more, as police seized more than 50 items, alleged to have been stolen from the Lake Macquarie region.
It is estimated the value of the stolen goods is worth around $50,000.
The seized property includes a field line marker, floor polisher, floor sander, concrete cutter, high pressure cleaner and ceiling projector.
Police are now looking for the owners of the property, and urge anyone who has information or can prove any of the items may be theirs, to contact Belmont Police station.
