“I can’t wait to take a proper ride around the Newcastle Monopoly board with my family and friends this weekend.”

Dale Hackett, representative from Winning Moves said: “This edition will be everything people love about the traditional board, adapted in a way that Novocastrians will enjoy for generations to come.

“We wanted Novocastrians to think of Customs House, Nobby’s Beach, Newcastle Museum when they think of Monopoly and have that connection with the board game, and a great way to display what is great about Newcastle.

“We had an overwhelming public response to what should be on the board and the ANZAC Memorial Walk and Nobby’s Beach were by far the two which had the most interest, so it was a no brainer to put them on the coveted blue squares.”

The public will also get a chance to walk around the board and get up close and personal with the brand new game and Mr Monopoly at Westfield Kotara on the 13th and 14th of October from 10am until 2pm.

The new Newcastle edition Monopoly is available now from leading toy retailers across the region.
