Merewether: Man bashed and robbed near beach as police release CCTV
Police have released images of a number of people they hope can assist with inquiries following an aggravated robbery in which a man was bashed and robbed while sitting on a park bench near Merewether beach.

Detectives are searching for three men who bashed and robbed a man of his luxury car as he sat on a Merewether bench.
The victim, 45, was sitting on a Lloyd Street bench overlooking the beach about 3pm on Saturday afternoon when it was approached by the men.
Police said the men had arrived in a Toyota Kluger four-wheel drive, believed to have been stolen from an Islington address the previous day.
They punched the man before robbing him of his keys, wallet and phone.
All three men drove away in the blue BMW M2 coupe an were last seen heading west towards Scenic Drive.
Newcastle City police have released closed circuit television footage of three men they believe can assist with inquiries.
They are all described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance and aged in their mid-20s.
One man is also described as being of a solid build, with mohawk-style hair and a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie.
A second man is described as being of slim build and wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.
Police are also appealing for anyone who may have seen a blue BMW M2 coupe with NSW registration DSS 71W, to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
