Man charged over alleged sexual abuse of a five-year-old girl in Hunter region
A 45-year-old man appeared at Toronto Local Court on Tuesday after being arrested at his Cooranbong home last week and charged with the alleged sexual abuse of a five-year-old girl. The matter has been adjourned until next week.

A man charged over the alleged sexual abuse of a five year old girl in the Hunter region had his matter adjourned until next week at Toronto Local Court on Tuesday.
The Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad commenced investigations in August following reports a young girl had been sexually abused by a man known to her.
It led to the arrest of a 45-year-old man at a home in Cooranbong Thursday morning, on October 10.
He’s been charged with intentionally carry out sexual act with child under 10 years, intentional incite child under 10 years to do sexual act to them, and intentionally sexually touch child under 10 years.
The man was not required to attend Toronto Local Court on Tuesday and the prosecution stated the matter was to be referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
No bail was applied for and it was formally refused, adjourned to October 22.
