A man has been charged after a home west of Newcastle was raided by police and uncovered drugs and firearms.
On Thursday morning, Strike Force Raptor searched a property on Nelson St, Barnsley and police found multiple firearms including two shortened shotguns, a shortened rifle and a semi-automatic pistol plus ammunition.
An quantity of methylamphetamine was also seized.
A 34-year-old man was arrested and taken to Toronto Police Station.
He was charged with three counts of possession of shortened firearms, possess nine millimetre semi-automatic pistol and supplying prohibited drug.
He was refused bail and will re-appear at Toronto Local Court in late December.
Investigations are ongoing.
