Lake Macquarie: Second man charged with assault after alleged house party home invasion
A man is alleged to have joined a teenager in assaulting another youth at a Lake Macquarie house party.

Lake Macquarie police were called to a Codrington St home about 12.40am on Sunday after reports a man had been assaulted during a home invasion.
Police said two males, known to the occupants, had been at the home earlier in the evening for a party.
They had left following a fight with a 17-year-old.
Police allege the two males returned to the house twice and assaulted the teen before fleeing in a vehicle.
Detectives arrested a 17-year-old youth at an Edgeworth home on Sunday afternoon and charged him with aggravated enter dwelling with intent – in company, and aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before court on December 15.
After further inquiries a 28-year-old man was charged at an Islington home on Tuesday afternoon.
He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated enter dwelling with intent in company, aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence and intimidation.
He was also charged with breach of bail, larceny and other unrelated matters.
The man was refused bail to appear in court on Wednesday.
