Hunter Valley drug bust: Police say meth supply ring crushed in early morning raids
Police say they have crushed a methylamphetamine supply ring across the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens after a series of early morning raids. Five people have been arrested by Strike Force Daman.

Police believe they have crushed a methylamphetamine supply ring after five people were arrested during raids across Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley.
Strike Force Daman, comprising police from the Port Stephens-Hunter police district’s proactive crime team, raided four properties on Thursday following a three-month investigation.
The search warrants included homes at Raymond Terrace, Mallabula, Anna Bay and Singleton.
The simultaneous dawn raids were executed with the assistance of specialist officers from Operation Utah.
During the searches, police allegedly seized “ice”, cannabis, drug paraphernalia, weapons, a stun gun and mobile phones.
Three men, aged 24, 45 and 52, and two women, aged 46 and 51, were arrested.
The 45-year-old man was arrested at a Raymond Terrace home and later charged with 16 offences including ongoing drug supply and participating in a criminal group.
The 52-year-old man was taken into custody at Anna Bay and charged with seven offences including ongoing drug supply and participating in a criminal group.
Both faced Raymond Terrace Local Court on Thursday and were bail refused to reappear on October 12.
A woman, 51, was charged with four offences after being arrested at Raymond Terrace and will appear in court on August 31.
A Mallabula man, 24, will face court on the same date after being granted conditional bail on nine charges.
A Singleton woman, 46, will appear in court on August 27 after being charged with possessing an unauthorised firearm and not keeping a firearm safe.
