A Maitland corrective services NSW officer has been charged after an alleged intimate relationship with a parolee in the Hunter.
Police arrested a woman, 30, on Monday morning following investigations into reports a community corrections officer and a 29-year-old male parolee had been in an romantic relationship.
The woman was taken to Maitland Police Station and charged with engaging in sexual conduct, compromise sentence/order.
The woman was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Maitland Local Court on Wednesday, December 11.
She has been suspended by Corrective Services NSW.
