Aberdeen, McQueen street: Woman suffered facial injuries after domestic-related incident
A house in the main street of Aberdeen become a crime scene last night following an alleged domestic-related incident. A woman was taken to hospital while a man has been charged.

A man has been charged following a domestic-related incident in the main street of Aberdeen on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to a home on MacQueen St at about 5.30pm after reports of a domestic-related assault between a man and woman.
Police allege a 26-year-old Scone man damaged the front door of the home before assaulting a 42-year-old woman known to him.
Hunter Valley Police set up a crime scene as they investigated the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance for facial injuries before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
The man was arrested nearby and was taken to Muswellbrook Hospital under police guard for treatment of superficial lacerations.
Upon his release, the 26-year-old was then taken to Muswellbrook Police Station where he was charged with stalk and intimidate, damage property, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear at Muswellbrook Local Court on Friday.
