The anti-bikie unit Strike Force Raptor North also assisted in the Singleton raids.

Four charges of possess prohibited drug, which relates to steroids, will be used as related offences when he heads to trial, while six charges of supply a prohibited drug have also been withdrawn.

In Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday, Bowtell sat in the back row of the courtroom as the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) cited the matters were ready to be committed for trial in Newcastle’s District Court on August 6.

Bowtell is also fighting charges for contravening a community corrections order (CCO) four times.

Police allege in court documents between April 2018 and February 2019, the former bikie boss breached the order by having encrypted app conversations, associating with bikie members including Dylan Britliffe and displaying outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) insignia.

He’s pleaded not guilty to all breaches, with the matters adjourned until August 17 at Muswellbrook Local Court.
