Magical makeover for high tea

Rainbow ricotta cakes, magical macarons and colourful cannoli — this high tea is one not to be missed.

Rooty Hill RSL Club will turn rainbow-coloured with a day of glittery, colourful and whimsical fun in July.

A unicorn-themed high tea — hosted by Made By The Hill and Pasticceria Papa — is heading to the club featuring a rainbow of shiny popular treats.

The Rooty Hill RSL venue and Italian pastry kings Pasticceria Papa have teamed up for the sparkly event on Sunday, July 1, which heralds the unicorn-themed craze currently sweeping the nation heading into western Sydney.

Papa’s well-known baked ricotta cake will be transformed with a whimsical unicorn filling for the day.

Their famous cannoli and macarons will also undergo magical unicorn makeovers for the event.

Guests can enjoy their three tiers of colourful delights washed down with a unicorn cocktail or freakshake — or both — while enjoying acoustic soloists, colourful, glittery colouring-in activities as well as a fun unicorn photo booth for the young and the young at heart.

The event has already proven so popular with patrons that additional timeslots have been added throughout the day and night.

Tickets for the high tea start at $30 per person.
