Police are on the hunt for a man, last seen in the Hunter Valley, over a string of robbery related offences.

Wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant, 23-year-old William Hickey is known to frequent the Sydney and Kempsey areas.

Hunter Valley Police are conducting inquiries into his whereabouts and are appealing to the public for any assistance in tracking him down.

He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 175 -180cm tall, with a thin build, blue/grey eyes, brown hair and beard.

Police are warning people not to approach him, but if anyone knows of his whereabouts or has information on his location to call triple-0 immediately or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
