The loaded classics will be big at the return of the Scene & Heard Festival to Newcastle, with ARIA-winning band GRINSPOON announced as the headline act.
The ‘Grinners’ will be joined by the likes of Regurgitator, Frenzal Rhomb, Killing Heidi along with the discovery ‘Daft Punk Tribute’ show, for a jam-packed day of live music and entertainment on February 21 next year at Wickham Park.
Like many others, the alternative music festival was cancelled in 2020 thanks to COVID and returns in 2021 with an epic line-up of Australian 90s and noughties tunes.
Festival Director Brent Lean said they’re excited to see live music return.
“Following a dreadful period for our industry and fans, this will be a celebration like no other,” he said.
“From the awesome bands that are riding this with us, to all of our beautiful crew, who have so missed being able to do what we love.
“As they say, “You don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone”.
“Buckle in, this one is going to be special.”
