From full and fluffy to perfectly plucked, there’s no denying the impact brows can have on a person’s face.
But finding a technician you trust is no easy feat.
That’s why we asked you to vote for Newcastle’s best brow technician and we were overwhelmed with nominations.
After putting the finalists to a vote in an online poll - which ran from last Wednesday to Sunday - we had one clear winner across the region.
The Newcastle News can now reveal the top brow technician in the wider Newcastle area is Sarah Hayes of Scout Beauty.
Sarah always had a passion for beauty, getting her start in the industry aged just 16.
She worked her way up at various salons, before opening her own business, Scout Beauty, in 2018.
“I’m shocked, surprised and super proud of my little home salon getting its name out there,” Sarah said of the win.
“I feel over the moon that my work is being recognised.”
Sarah said the best part of her job was building friendships with her clients.
“Being there through their lives, we become each other’s councillors and I love that,” she said.
“I like to give my clients a relaxing experience, as well as making them feel beautiful when leaving the salon.
“I get so much satisfaction after doing brows, as not only does it transform their face, it also makes them feel beautiful and confident.”
Sarah thanked her partner Brady for supporting her with the business.
“I couldn’t have done this without your support and being my little assistant.”
