Port Stephens-Hunter police investigate home invasion on Morton St, Raymond Terrace

Detectives are on the hunt for three people who stormed a home during an early morning raid before demanding cash. Here is what we know.

Three people have crashed their way into a Raymond Terrace house and demanded cash from frightened residents during a brazen, early morning home invasion.

Police were called to Morton St about 2.20am on Friday following reports of the aggravated break and enter.

Officers were told that three people had forced their way into the home and demanded case.

The trio fled with a wallet, a pair of shoes and other items.

No one was injured during the home invasion.

A crime scene was established and Port Stephens-Hunter detectives are continuing to hunt for the invaders.
