Police senior constable charged over domestic violence related offences, sending offensive emails

A Hunter senior constable is facing domestic violence related charges after police allege she sent offensive emails.
The 44-year-old police officer - attached to a specialist command - was issued a court attendance notice for using a carriage service to harass or offend and a stalking, intimidation offence.
On February 5, officers from the Northern Region commenced an investigation into reports of offensive emails sent to a man between October 2022 and February 2023.
Following those inquiries, the senior constable was charged and then suspended from her duties with pay.
She’ll next appear at Toronto Local Court on March 28.
