Man dies following two vehicle crash on New England Highway, Ravensworth
A man aged in his 60s has tragically died after his car collided with another vehicle while travelling on a major highway in the Hunter Valley.

A man has died at the scene of a horror two-vehicle crash on one of the state’s major highways.
About 4.30pm Thursday emergency services were called to the New England Highway, Ravensworth, following reports a ute and sedan had collided.
The driver of the sedan – a 60-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.
The driver of the ute – a 57-year-old man – was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
