Two men remain behind bars on remand after being charged over an alleged pre-dawn home invasion where a man was stabbed in the shoulder and a woman was also injured.

Two men who allegedly stormed a Lake Macquarie property and stabbed a man during a violent home invasion have been remanded in custody.
Gak Manyang Boc, 27, and Timothy Nayaloga, 28, both faced Belmont Local Court on Tuesday after being arrested hours after the alleged pre-dawn raid at Macquarie Hills on Monday.
Police allege the pair stormed the home about 3.30am and attacked a couple – a 35-year-old man and 34-year-old woman – before escaping.
The man suffered a stab wound to the shoulder in the alleged attack an was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The woman suffered a minor injury and was treated at the scene.
Lake Macquarie detectives established a crime scene and began investigating the alleged home invasion before taking Boc and Nayaloga into custody.
Both were taken to Toronto police station where they were each charged with entering a building/land with intent to commit an indictable offence and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company.
The pair faced Belmont Local Court on Tuesday where they were not required to enter any pleas and made no application for bail.
Boc was remanded in custody to reappear in Belmont Local Court on Tuesday while Nayaloga will face court again on October 23.
