MOTORISTS have been warned to allow extra travel time after a truck breakdown on a busy road in Sydney’s northwest.
Emergency services were called to a truck fire on Pennant Hills Road in Carlingford just before 4pm Tuesday.
One of three northbound lanes was closed on Pennant Hills Road near Aiken Road.
A NSW Police spokesman said the truck was “partially blocking” the lane.
About 4.28pm, the road was reopened yet motorists have been asked to allow extra travel time.
