The Hills District Tennis Association has secured its fifth straight Premier Badge title with a win over Strathfield Sports Club.

The men’s team of Robert Kilborn, Neil Smith and his sons Jordan and Cameron – all coaches at the Castle Hill Tennis Academy – beat Strathfield four sets to three at the Caterson Tennis Centre in Castle Hill on September 24.

Neil Smith said the result was a “very satisfying” win.

“We played well all competition and it was good to get there on the day particularly playing at home in front of a supportive crowd of our family, friends and CHTA clients,” he said.

“It made it more special to be playing with two of my sons as well as such a great friend.

“The team has been very committed this year as we had two of our regular players from last year’s winning team unable to help defend the title due to injury.”
