WEST RYDE'S Jessica Noh will join a host of international stars competing for the Women's NSW Open at Oatlands Golf Club from Friday to Sunday.
Winning will be a difficult task, with all previous title holders competing, including teenage sensation and defending champion, amateur Lydia Ko.
But Noh, 21, is going into 2013 with a completely different attitude and goal - to have more fun.
"It's a totally different goal this year. I'm just going to try and have more fun and with that hopefully the results will come," she said.
After returning from some time in Korea, she said she was still adjusting to the heat and fine-tuning her game ahead of the open.
"I've been working on the little things and getting used to the heat," Noh said.
"There are more pros this year, which is great. It's good to see more experienced people."
There will be players from 14 other countries competing, including Swede Caroline Hedwall, English pair Laura Davies, Felicity Johnson, Canadian Lorie Kane and Norway's Marianne Skarpnord.
Among Noh's local competition will be Lindsey Wright, Frances Bondad and Nikki Garrett.
