Biker dies on Hornsby mountain bike trail
A BIKE rider, 30, died on the Hornsby mountain bike trail last Saturday after experiencing chest pains.
A BIKE rider, 30, died on the Hornsby mountain bike trail last Saturday.
Police said the Waitara man had previously experienced chest pains and was found collapsed on the southern section of the trail by two riders around 7pm.
They noticed minimal damage to his helmet and bike and performed CPR until ambulance paramedics arrived.
He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are yet to release the man's name, but said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
