Woman just discharged from hospital wins $700k in Lotto with husband
A RETIRED couple who bought a Lotto ticket from Milperra Newsagency have walked away with nearly $700,000. The news couldn’t have come a better time for the pair, after the wife had just been discharged from hospital.

A RETIRED couple who bought a Lotto ticket from a Milperra newsagency have walked away with nearly $700,000.
The thrilled couple, who wished to remain anonymous, were one of six division one winners to take home $658,048 in the Saturday Lotto draw on November 11.
The lucky husband said the news couldn’t have come a better time for the pair, after his wife had just been discharged from hospital.
“This is really great. It has just knocked us off our feet,” he said.
“My wife has just had a small operation on her heart so I’m hoping this isn’t too much excitement for her.”

The husband said the money will make a big difference and they plan to “fix up” their house.
Meanwhile, the wife said she was glad she stuck to using her “favourite numbers”.
“They’re family birthdates so these numbers will mean so much more now,” she said.
“I recently thought about changing them because we hadn’t won anything for a little while. I’m glad I didn’t.”
The winning couple bought their registered marked 10-game entry from Milperra Newsagency in Bullecourt Ave.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3789 on November 11 were 30, 19, 43, 18, 27 and 38. The supplementary numbers were 21 and 16.
Across Australia there were six division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 3789 — one from Queensland, two from New South Wales, two from Victoria and one from Western Australia.
