Bankstown police have charged a senior officer over two alleged off-duty incidents, including a threatening phone call and an altercation.

Bankstown Police Area Command said they had been investigating an alleged threatening phone call on September 27, 2018, and an alleged altercation between two men at Revesby on November 22, 2018.
“Following inquiries on Tuesday, the officer, a senior constable attached to a specialist command, was served with a Future Court Attendance Notice for the offences of common assault — domestic violence related, use carriage service to menace, harass or offend, and intimidation.
He is expected to appear before Bankstown Local Court on Thursday, May 2.
