BABY crocodiles aren’t normally found in Salt Pan Creek Reserve — but this Saturday you might spot one at the Riverwood Spring Fair.
The reptile show is just part of the smorgasbord of food, music, dancing, rides and other entertainment on offer at the Riverwood Community Centre’s 38th annual fair.
Highlights include a parkour workshop run by Joseph Wells, and a skate competition.
There’ll also be a bake-off contest with prizes for best cake, muffin, slice and scone.
For ride-lovers there’ll be a giant slide, spinning tea cups and a jumping castle.
Spring Fair co-ordinator Kate Mason said the day is a celebration of the wonderful multicultural community and the centre’s largest fundraising event of the year.
“Come down and experience everything the Riverwood community has to offer,” Ms Mason said.
“There’ll be a lot of thinks going on, it’ll be vibrant and there’ll be delicious food, our many different cultures performing and fun stuff for the kids too.”
The fair runs from 9am-3pm at 151 Belmore Rd Nth, Riverwood. Free entry, gold coin donations welcomed.
