A woman has been charged with attempted murder after police allege she deliberately drove a car at a man and woman during a domestic dispute in Sydney’s southwest.
Police allege Lacey Perger, 20, drove a Ford Focus into the backyard of a home at Lochinvar Rd in Revesby at 2.30pm on Saturday, hitting a 21-year-old woman in the legs and causing significant foot injuries.
The woman and a 22-year-old man with her were forced to move in order to avoid the car as police say it veered towards them.
Perger, who police allege is known to the pair, then got into an argument with the uninjured man and a physical struggle allegedly ensued.
The young woman then allegedly fled, hitting a fence.
The injured woman was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.
Bankstown detectives today arrested Perger at Bankstown police station and charged her with causing wounding or grievous bodily harm with intent to murder, attempt to murder, dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm and driving as an unaccompanied learner.
She was also charged on an outstanding arrest warrant.
She was refused bail by police and appeared at Bankstown Local Court on Thursday.
