Man in his 30 dies after Sydney motorcycle crash

A man in his late 30s has passed away from traumatic injuries after a serious motorcycle crash in Sydney’s southwest.

A man in his 30s has died after a motorcycle crash in Sefton late this afternoon.

The accident took place on Hector Road, near Broad Street in Sefton, around 2.50pm.

Police have said the motorcycle left the road and crashed.

A spokesman for NSW Ambulance said six crews attended the scene of the crash, including a specialist medical team.

They attempted to treat him on the scene, but he sadly passed away from traumatic injuries.

Youseff Adriss, a worker at family business Best Lebanese Bakery — located at the site of the crash — said his dad was working when the accident happened.

“He heard a hard crash into the wall of the shop,” Mr Adriss said.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command remain at the scene of the crash, and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to Mr Adriss, the deceased man’s family has also been to the site, and were seen crying and mourning their loved one.

NSW Police said a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
