Man charged over brutal assault of woman at Chester Hill
A Dundas Valley man has been charged over the alleged brutal assault of a Chester Hill woman, who was struck by a bat, stabbed and kicked while walking down a street.

A man who joined three women in an alleged assault on another woman at Chester Hill — stabbing, kicking and striking her with a baseball bat — has been arrested and charged.
Bankstown police investigating the alleged attack, which happened on July 22, arrested a 35-year-old Dundas Valley man on Harris St at Parramatta on Thursday.
He was taken to Parramatta police station and charged with reckless wounding in company. He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
A Bankstown police spokesman said they are searching for three women who may be help with the investigation.
Just before 6pm on July 22, a 38-year-old Chester Hill woman and a 38-year-old man were walking on St Paul’s Place in the suburb when police allege they were confronted by four people in a vehicle, three women and a man.
The woman ran toward Gurney Rd and was allegedly chased by the man, along with one of the women armed with a baseball bat.
She was allegedly struck several times with the bat and kicked by the three women and the man.
She was allegedly stabbed and suffered a 3cm to 4cm wound to the right ribcage, a lacerated liver and right rib fractures.
