Lakemba man, 24, charged over alleged sexual assault of 15-year-old girl
Police have charged a Lakemba man over the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Belmore.

A Lakemba man faces court today on charges of twice sexually assaulting a teenage girl he had met briefly on a precious occasion.
The State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad arrested the man on Thursday around 9.30am at Campsie Police Station following their investigations into the alleged sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl.
“Following an appeal to the community earlier this week, a 24-year-old man attended Campsie Police Station just after 9.30am yesterday, where he was arrested by detectives,” a police spokesman said.
“The Lakemba man was charged with two counts of sexual intercourse with child (aged between 14 and 16 years), two counts of aggravated sex assault, victim under the age of 16 and intentionally sexually touch child (aged between 10 and 16).
“Police will allege in court that the man sexually assaulted the girl at two locations in Belmore on Tuesday, March 26.”
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
