Canterbury Bankstown clubs showcase top cuisine at awards
It’s no secret that some of Sydney’s best restaurants and cafes are in Canterbury Bankstown, with many making it to the finals of the Restaurant and Catering Industry Association Awards for Excellence.

Canterbury Bankstown residents are spoiled for choice when it comes to quality dining with several restaurants nominated as finalists for the Sydney metropolitan Restaurant and Catering Industry Association Awards for Excellence.
Bankstown Sports, one of the largest clubs in Australia, leads the way by having eight popular outlets up for gongs — Lucky Cheng’s, Basement Brewhouse, Cornerstone Coffee & Kitchen, Peking Square, Greenfield Station Bistro, Stuzzichino, Pizzeria Bellucci and Platform One.
Revesby Workers Club have three venues vying for awards — Aunty Eight’s, Bel Cibo and Firestone Kitchen & Bar.
The Savour Australia Hostplus Awards for Excellence is a nationally recognised, independently judged awards program that recognises exceptional service and culinary talent across Australia.
The winners will be announced on September 16 at The Star.
