Jad Mourad: Constitution Hill man charged after alleged Roselands apartment shooting
A 26-year old man is alleged by police to be the shooter in a Roselands apartment incident, and was subject to a firearm prohibitions order when the alleged shooting took place.

An investigation into an attempted murder in a Roselands apartment building on May 24 has led police to charge a 26-year-old man with multiple gun and drug offences.
Jad Mourad, 26, from Constitution Hill, was stopped by police around 10.15am on Wednesday while driving in Todman Ave, Kensington, following investigations from Strike Force Porst.
According to NSW Police, emergency services were called to a unit block on Canterbury Rd, Roselands on Tuesday, May 24, where they found a 30-year-old man with an injured right hand at about 10.40pm.
Police had been searching for the alleged shooter since.
Five other people have already been charged over the events on the night, including three charged with concealing a serious indictable offence - attempted murder.
Mourad has not been charged with attempted murder after the events of May 24.
He has been charged with discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, acquire firearm subject to prohibition order, acquire ammunition subject to prohibition order, fire firearm manner likely injure persons/property and possess unauthorised pistol.
Mourad has also been charged with driving while disqualified (second offence) and possess/attempt to possess a prohibited substance.
He appeared in Waverley Local Court today, and did not apply for bail.
Mourad is next listed to appear in Bankstown Local Court on August 9.
