Greenacre police raid uncovers homemade guns, drugs, 38-year-old arrested
A man will face court after a specialist strike force found guns - in different stages of being made - and drugs during a search of an apartment.

A Mortdale man has been charged with 31 offences related to the supply of drugs and the sale, manufacture and possession of guns during a police operation.
Strike Force Cavanough arrested Johnny Luangratbandit, 38, yesterday afternoon outside a unit in Greenacre on intel gathered over a four month investigation into the supply of drugs and guns across south Sydney.
Luangratbandit has been accused of selling $34,900 worth of firearms and drugs over four months, including seven .22 calibre pen guns he allegedly manufactured.
Police searched the Lawford St unit shortly after his arrest and found three modified guns, 15 home-made firearms at various stages of completion and three prohibited weapons.
Police allege he was in possession or illegally sold firearms on the black market from the apartment, including a .177 calibre air rifle, two homemade single-shot pistols, a replica pistol, a self-loading rifle, a shortened bolt action rifle, a .22 calibre rifle, a T3 Variant .223 rifle and about 150 rounds of ammunition.
They also allegedly found a driver’s licence with his photo under the name Victor Boateng, equipment typically used in the manufacture of weapons, ammunition and drugs, including cannabis, MDMA, heroin and methylamphetamine.
Police charged Luangratbandit with 31 offences, including four counts of supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity), supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, two counts of manufacture prohibited firearm without licence/permit, eight counts of supply prohibited firearm to unauthorised person, and unlawfully sell firearms three times or more within 12 months.
Luangratbandit had his case mentioned at Bankstown Local Court on February 26. He did not present as he was not required; a Legal Aid representative acting on his behalf sought an adjournment.
Police said they will allege Luangratbandit was involved in the supply of prohibited firearms, weapons, ammunition and methylamphetamine between November 2019 and February 2020.
Luangratbandit did not apply for bail and remains in custody. His case is scheduled to return to Bankstown Local Court on April 22.
